The Angelina Baby Mania skits on SNL were priceless!

A year ago, a coworker and his wife were expecting their first child. Somebody said “babies” and I got to work.

I love making baby stuff because: yay, new life! Baby items are also quick to work up and come on… they are so cute! One sight of booties and you immediately smell that intoxicating baby aroma. You start giving zerberts to imaginary bellies. You also say a little prayer thanking God you won’t be the one waking up every 2 hours during the night.

Sleep deprivation notwithstanding, babies are a gift from God and I love to celebrate them with yarn!

It’s Ornamental

After the Christmas Stocking adventure I found myself with a bit of extra yarn. My stash is already filling three or four plastic bins. Raise your hand if you have unlimited storage space. Exactly! So in keeping with project’s theme and with the Christmas Spirit, I created a few tree ornaments. This was fun and I think I’ll be revisiting them soon. This was my first time using fabric fill and a cabone rings. Crochet is the gift that keeps on giving.
